Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten is so lucky to be filled each day with children who arrive ready to learn, play, and grow. We know that not every family has that same ease—especially when a child is facing a serious medical challenge.
This year, our Walkathon will support Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, which provides a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children—keeping them close to the care they need.
Many families, including some within our extended RNSK community, have been touched by the care and support they provide.

At Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley we envision a world where every family has what they need to ensure the best health outcomes for their children. Thanks to our community of supporters we can offer families compassionate care by creating and running programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of sick children and their families.
When a child is battling a medical crisis, our House provides families with all the comforts of home and eases some of the burdens they face every day. Together, we continue to enable access to medical care for critically ill children, allowing a family-centered care approach to treatment and giving families what they need most during this critical time -– each other.
