Due to a traumatic delivery, Benji had to be admitted into the NICU and transferred to a pediatric hospital that was farther away from our home. Thanks to the Ronald McDonald House, during Benji’s 18 day NICU stay, we were able to be literally across the parking lot for majority of that time. It allowed us to see him everyday, multiple times a day, be present for the daily rounds with the medical team, be active in his care, and most importantly bond with him. Team Benji is paying it forward!
