Team Fundraising Page of Grateful Grace

Nearly Four years ago we were beyond excited to be welcoming our first child. We never anticipated her arrival into this world would be so humbling. At 3 hours old Grace was helicoptered to WMC to stay in the Maria Ferari NICU for a brain injury. We were at a loss as to where we'd stay because leaving our baby girl wasn't an option. Ronald McDonald House stepped up. They gave us a safe, comfortable & kind home base for the next week while Grace was getting treatment. There were clean, private rooms, home cooked meals, and comradarie among all the families staying there. It was truly a God send for us and I know for others as well. We've always wanted to find a way to give back, maybe even to go down and cook for other families as we were cooked for. However, covid hit and made it impossible. But NOW we have this great way to showcase RMH! We didn't (have to) pay while staying there, we did because we could. But I know others can't afford it along with impending medical bills but they still need a place to stay that isn't their car in the parking lot. We want to continue to give back & this walk is a perfect way to do so! Won't you help us help other families in need of comfort when their child is getting the help they need? I can tell you from experience that nothing beats a hot meal, a warm comfortable bed & knowing you're close to your child if your needed when you're worried all day long.
