The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley (RMHGHV) served as a source of hope for our family during a daunting period. Our daughter was born with a congenital heart condition, requiring emergency surgery at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Just five days after her birth, she underwent open-heart surgery to repair her main aortic valve. Throughout the following three weeks, we were fortunate to find refuge at the RMH, enabling us to be by her side every day throughout her recovery journey. The compassion and support from the staff and volunteers were remarkable, and our gratitude knows no bounds. After long days and nights, we found comfort in warm meals and a private room to rest. The RMHGHV truly became our home away from home. Participating in this event is our humble way of saying thank you and contributing to raising awareness for their mission of keeping families together. We can't wait to celebrate and walk with pride in honor of our strong Cami girl!
