On December 10th, 2024, our baby girl Sophia Luz was born at 30 weeks and 4 days at a sweet little 2 lbs and 15.8oz. Due to sudden onset of severe pre-eclampsia, delivery unfortunately was our only option to ensure the health of the baby and myself.  Having had quite literally the easiest pregnancy, our thoughts of a happy and healthy third trimester turned into a 57-day NICU stay. Throughout 51 of those 57-days, the Ronald McDonald House and its employee's were there for us through all our ups and downs, and provided us not only a place to rest our heads and eat, but also provide the comfort our family needed. We will be forever grateful for the effort each and every one of the staff members takes to make sure not only we were happy, and comfortable but that all those that walked through the door were as well. We thank you, and hope that this event and our team can help continue to support those in their most vulnerable times of need. --Much love and a hug
