Born at 23 weeks weighing 1 lb, 4 oz., Betty had only a 20% chance of survival. Fast forward 3 1/2 years and we’ve all had the pleasure of watching Betty grow into the sweet, hilarious, loving healthy little girl she has become. We would not be where we are today without Ronald McDonald House. Betty spent 171 days in the NICU at Westchester Medical, an hour away from our house. Ronald McDonald gave us the invaluable opportunity to be at our daughter’s bedside every day as she grew stronger. The food, shelter and community we experienced during our darkest days brought us such comfort and we will be forever grateful to the staff and greater Ronald McDonald House. On April 27th of this year, Betty is being recognized as the Grand Marshall for Ronald McDonald’s House of the Hudson Valley’s annual Walkway over the Hudson fundraiser. We are grateful for any donation you can give to show our appreciation for what RMH has meant to our family and to help future families and miracle babies like Betty. 100% of the proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House.
