A Message From Lorelai’s Groupies

Lorelai’s Groupies Are Here Walking In Support Of The Ronald McDonald House Of The Greater Hudson Valley, After Being Supported and Uplifted By The Amazing Staff and Generous Volunteers At The WestChester Medical Center Campus. Robert and Brina First Time Parents Had A Very Unexpected Delivery Of Their Baby Girl Lorelai Who Was Considered To Be Completely Health Until Her Birth Where All Medical Conditions Where Then Discovered. Lorelai and Her Family Spent The First 6 Months Of Her Life Confined To A Hospital Bed Undergoing Life Sustaining and Enhancing Procedures To Improve Lorelai’s Quality Of Life. After Her Release From WestChester Medical and Blythedale Rehabilitation Center Lorelai Went Home and Continued Outpatient Treatment and Still Does. Receiving Therapy Daily and Endless Medical Appointments Lorelai Was Diagnosed At 1 Year Of Age With Sticklers Syndrome Where She Now Faces A Long Road Of An Unpredictable Future With This Life Long Progressive Illness. Causing Worsening Hearing and Sight Issues. Along With A Long List Of Other Issues That This Syndrome Causes To The Entire Body. Lorelai Currently Is Severely Visually Impaired But Utilizes Corrective Lenses. Lorelai Loves Her Glasses and Hearing Aids! At 2 Years Old Lorelai Has Been Diagnosed With Another Rare Condition Completely Isolated From Her Others. Bilateral Duane’s Syndrome Type 3. Bilateral Duane’s Syndrome Type 3 is a form of Duane syndrome where both eyes have limited ability to move both inwards and outwards. Lorelai had undergone 1 Surgery Already and Will Undergo Surgery On and Off Throughout The Rest Of Her Life Not Fixing But To Help Maintain Quality Of Life In Order To Limit Suffering From Pain In Her Neck, Back and To Aide In Helping With Double Vision. Lorelai Despite The Many Obstacles She Has And Continues To Face Is A Happy Upbeat Little Girl Who’s Laugh and Smiles Come From The Soul. She Loves Her Mammy, Daddy and Support System Of Not Only Her Family By Blood But Her Ronald McDonald House Family! We Couldn’t Be More Appreciative Of The Support We Have Received and Ongoing Support That They Have Provided To Our Little Girl From This Foundation That She Will Receive In The Future As We Walk This Life’s Long Road With Our Little Girl. Our Family Away From Home Spent and Continues To Spent Their Time With Us During Holidays, Rejoicing In Milestones, and Major Life Long Events As We Continue Our Joureny. Lorelai is a NICU Graduate, Blythedale Rehabilitation Graduate, Pierre Robin Sequence, Cleft Pallet, Sticklers Syndrome Type 2 and Now Bilateral Duane’s Syndrome Type 3 WARRIOR
